About Us
We are Roland and Sandrien van Oostrom. For many years, we have been traveling through Spain in our camper, repeatedly enjoying the Spanish sun, the diverse nature, the warm and welcoming people, and the delicious Andalusian cuisine. Over time, we became more and more enchanted by Andalusia. The combination of peace, space, culture, and the sea made this region unique for us.
After several stays in southern Spain, we decided to make our dream come true and purchase a holiday home in Andalusia. That’s how we discovered Casa Pura Vida, a charming property in the countryside near Colmenar. The location is ideal: surrounded by nature, with panoramic views, yet close to quaint villages, beaches, and cities like Málaga. From the very first moment, we felt that this house had everything we were looking for: atmosphere, privacy, tranquility, and comfort.
Casa Pura Vida features multiple terraces around the property, allowing you to enjoy sun or shade at any time of the day. In the autumn of 2023, we added a private swimming pool, making our holiday home in Colmenar now completely perfect and ideal for a relaxing summer vacation.
Because we love sharing this special place, we rent out Casa Pura Vida during the summer months. It is an ideal base for nature lovers, those seeking peace, and holidaymakers who want to discover authentic Andalusia.
